First class of the day and the Odyssey

Today class was the first class of the day. I was so tired because we had a game yesterday and I come to my room at 10 so I was so tired. We talk about the Odyssey. The characters and the whole story, what is it about. Mr Schick told us about the some parts. We talk about Homer which is the writer of Odyssey and Illied. Homer is a blind story teller in ancient Greece. He lived at the time the Greece hav their dark age. We learned that he is traveling town to town to tell these stories and more...
We listen part of Odyssey about the Cyclops and that is how we ended todays class.

Today in class we finished the video about Philosophy. Which makes me kind of sad because it was the most exiting topic we had covered yet. After we done with the video and taking notes, we have split in to our groups to work on our project about the ancient Greece. We start writing are essays and I have got the materials we are going to use on for doing the map and somebody bought figures that we are going to put on the map and the other 2 start writing our essay for the project. I believe that it will turn out as a good project and we all will get an solid grade.

Philosophers and Greeks Art

Today in class we continued doing the Democracy and Greece's Golden Age while the people who were absent on Friday was making up their test. I was past the halfway of 134-141 so It did not take much long for me to finish it. I saw things about : 404 B.C. the Athenians and their allies surrendered and the war cause athenians to question their democratic government and their values. Which lead to occur of the Philosophers. Philosophers are people who are seeking the truth and the lovers of wisdom. They were lot of Philosophers and groups: The Sophists group questioned blief and ideas about justice and other traditional values. Protogoras who questioned Greek Gods. In 399 B.C.
