Today in class there were 2 guys that didn't took the test yet so they were taking the test. so we couldn't check our answer in class and all that stuff Mr Schick just gave our test back for us the see them and I got an 87 which is not good because my grade still remains as a B and it is 86% and I need to get that to a 90 this test was a good opportunity for it but I have failed it even tho it felt like I was going to get an 100. Then we read from the book about the rise of Christianity it was about jesus and how did rome affect Christianity when did rome accept Christianity and then I get a chance to start the new section about the fall of roman empire but I was just able to read 1 paragraph or so. I need a find a way to get this grade up  because it is my only class that remain as a B and  I want a good GPA and these blogs barely affect our grade so we'll see what will happen by the end of the q.

Today in class we took a test fro the Rome it was a light work I think. We were allowed to use our bogs but I didn't even use it because I studied last night a lot so I just knew them. I think I will get a good great on this test if nothing goes wrong. I hope nothing goes wrong on the scan thing. everyone finished it earlier. I had 25 more minutes when I was done and then now I am doing my blog then I will write my essay for other class I have an huge essay to work on this weekend my computer got broke at a bad time I had my works in it but nothing to do bout it can't go back in time so.

Octavion was the emperor after JC he was considered as his son but he was actually his grandson or something like that He accomplished great things for rome like roads police department all that government stuff and age of emperors begin after him they were some bad emperors like Caligula  Nero and some not bad ones like Tiberus, Cladius. They served shortly because Tiberus was after Ocatvian and no one know ho to be a emperor so he get in and after Tiberus son died he exiled himself and give the power to his prefects and than Caligula came he was assassinated because he was a tyrant. Claduis came because he was the last adult male in the family and he was poisoned. It was his last wife's pan. She did it because she want it her son to be the next emperor which is Nero. I heard that name before in religion class. Nero didn't know what to do as a emperor.

Today in class we learned that Ancient Rome was giving people bread and free circuses because of the economic change that Punic war bring mid class was unhappy and the government was trying to keep them happy than we get into Caesar he was a great Roman emperor. He was smart making smart moves he bring the Triumvirate system which you run the government with 3 people one of them was the richest man in Rome and the other one was a great general that conquered the Syria and Palestine. He was good speeches and mid class loved him and he loved them his only enemy was the senate because when he bring the system he would have taken the power from the aristocrats.

Today in class we look at the Roman army. Roman Legian had 5000 soldiers that are best at the time and they are like a 2.0 version of Ancient Greece armies. Then we saw the Punic Wars it lasted from 264 to 146 BCE it was between Rome and Carthage. There were 3 wars and Rome win it all 1st war was fro Sicily 2nd one Carthage tried to attack Rome itself and 3rd one was the one that Rome ended Carthage and kill everyone who tried the fight end took 50000 slaves. It caused economic changes. It ended up bad for mid-class people

Today in class we have looked at the ancient Rome gov't and how did it influenced US we compared them. They had the counsels like US have executive (president) the counsels were serving one year term they were 2 of them and they could veto each other. They had Senate like like we had legislative. They had 300 Senators that served for lifetime and they were selected from the aristocrats and the counsels get select from the Senate. They had Twelve tables like US has the bill of rights. I might have miss one of 'em.

Today in class we started with taking notes and than we continued with reading from the book after the halfway of the class. We looked at the Tarquin, the last kings, family and how brutal and bad they were and it explained that why he was the last king. We learned about Partricians and Plebians. Patricions means the same as aristocrates and Plebians is the regular people they are %98 of the population. We see the details of these things and then we read from the book. I was taking a test at the time they were reading section 1 about the Rome so I finished that first then move on to the 2nd section. It was like a review for me because I read the things that we already covered in the presentation.

Today in school there was a presentation about genocide from 8am-3pm. Genocide briefly means on group of people annhilate another group of poeple. I been there for 4 classes and in the very first one we met and hear the story of the guy who is the CEO of the togteherweremember company which is the company that make this presntation. Second time I went there they were reading names and the last time I went there they were reading names again and it was the end of it a Jew guy tell his fathers stories about the genocide and than they end it up with an Jewish prayer. I learned a new things.

today in class we get into a rome new unit we talked about who settled the rome and it was greeks and latins . This unit seems much more exiting than the ancient greece and I hope it will be easier because I got 82 on my ancient greece test which I wasn't pleased about it. Class was fun today it was short too so we did not cover too much and we learned about two babies and a wolf myth. ROme will be very similar but much better than Greece I guess.

Today in class I took a test that I miss before we get into the spring break while the others read from the book about new chapter. I think I got like an 85 because we answered the questions in the class Right after I was done with it and I 5 of the 33 questions. It was lot better than I thought but the mistakes that I did was so easy and I was little upset about that I could have got an 90+.
