test review

today in class we reviewed and answered the questions of the test that we took yesterday. My test grade went up to a 76 because there was a question that Mr. Schick marked wrong and everybody had the same answer. Which bring up the class average. After we were done with answering every single question by reading the whole thing. we started working on our 5 question from the book that we supposed to finished it yesterday. Half of the class was done with it including myself so we keep on reading the next chapter and then I am writing my blog in the last 10 minutes of the class.

5 question + test

we had an test from whole rome. it was 25 question. I had an 72 on it and then we read from the book 353-357 and answered the 5 question at the end of it. Middle Ages : medivial period, the gradual decline of the roman empire ushered in an era of european history. 1.Franks: germanic people that attack the weak rome monasteries : church built religious communities. secular: power involved in politics. Carolingian Dynasty: the family that ruled the franks Charlemagne : ruled franks 2.Germany adopting Christianity and the fact that it was the one and only religion. 3. it was the classical heritage of Rome, The beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church and the customs of several Germanic Tribes. these are the 3 things 4.disruption of trade, fall of cities, decline in education 5. expanded the role of Pope to include secular power as well as spiritual; used church money to build armies, repair roads and help the poor

After rome

the germanic barbarians barbarian war loads assimilated the rome culture and soon became the nobles and aristocrats The angles and saxons from denmark to germany invaded britian and assimilated the native britons most of the ango-saxons were converted to christianity in the 7th century. the most powerful germanic tribes was the franks but the real power lay with the mayor of the palace who were royal officials and nobles themselves from eastern empire to byzantium  the easter roman empire continued to be byzantıum plagues killed lots of people than we look at my city and that was it

The Decline of the Roman Empire

Jesus spend 3 years preaching and then he was killed by the Roman Leaders Soul becomes Paul and spread the Jesus's messages instead of going after the apostles and killing them. Christianity evolves from cult status to established, official religion of the Roman Empire Priest Bishop Pope (Bishop of Rome) ... Roman Empire and Christianity are now linked in power and influence 313 380 AD 180 Rome has problems, getting closer to the end of the Pax Romana Diocletian divided the empire into two Greek-speaking east, had more resources. Latin-speaking west, Rome tradition. AD 324 Constantine becomes emperor of two halves, and after his death Rome dıvıde back in to two. This time barbarian invaders overrun the empire's frontiers  That is it for Roman Empire (AD 476)

Christianity goes up Rome goes down

Today in class we saw how did Christianity went up and then how did Rome went down Before the battle of Milvian Bridge, Constantine had a vision about The Cross in the sky and the words "in the sign, conquer ". He ordered his troops to paint cross on their shields and then won the battle. Then 1 year later at 313 Christianity become legal and it continued to gain more power. By 380 it became the empire's official religion. Chi-Rho was the first 2 letters of ' Christ' in Greek. Decline of the Roman Empire While Christianity strengthens, Rome weakens. Military too weak to defend huge area Economy : to high taxes; widening gap between rich and poor; trade distrupted. Social : who cares about public affairs?; disloyalty; population decrease. Political : Division of the Empire (Constantine moved the capital to Byzantium) THE LAST EMPEROR WAS IN 476 A 14 YEAR OLD NAMED ROMULUS AUGUSTULUS.

Christianity in the pax romana

A new religion in the empire We talk about the christianities basics and how did it founded by jesus and then spreaded by St paul Christianity grow because it embraced people gave hope to the powerless appealed to those who were disgusted by imperial romes decadence promised an eternal life after death offered a personal relationship w loving god Roman empire blamed Jews and Christians for what and when ever something goes wrong it was easier for Christianity to spread because Pax Romana they were building new roads . then we look at the book named 100 and it is about 100 people that influenced the world !st one was Muhammed which is the last and the main messenger of God in my religion and we look at the other ones too
